Many today are no longer satisfied to merely go through religious motions and not have the power of God working in their lives to bring change in behavior. Inner motivation is about the self image and that has been marred with sin (selfish and self absorbed) and damaged. The Lord is presently restoring to many a new self image. If we can allow truth to confront our inner motivation and bring about conviction and a lifestyle of repentance than we are on the way to maturing in Christ.
