Exodus 15:22-23 finds the children of Israel upset over bitter waters. The words of their complaint over their failure to find palatable water bears powerful testimony to their shallowness of their words in their previous song of triumph!
Many times there is a lot of training the Lord does when we reach a place of disappointment. Notice:
1. John 11:6-32 - God's delays speak of His timing.
2. 2 Kings 5:11-12 - God's methods speaks of a process.
3. Mark 10:17-22 - God's claims speaks of reality of potential and the way things really are and can be.
God educated Israel for our example.
