ABOUT SPIRITUAL GIFTS (THINGS) - according to the following scriptures we should:
(1) 1 Cor. 12:1 – Desire to be informed
(2) 1 Cor. 12:7 – Desire to be used
(3) 1 Cor. 14:1 – Have a desire (“set your heart on,” Phillips) for spiritual gifts
(4) 1 Cor. 14:12 – Be “zealous” of gifts
(5) 1 Cor. 12:31 – Covet the gifts
(6) 1 Cor. 14:39a – Covet (lit. “to be white hot”) prophecy
Spirit filled believers should be desirous of Spiritual things
