Testing And Proving

Testing and proving are the primary methods used by The Lord in His dealings with us. To say we have received truth and not have it tested in our life is immature. Testing and proving was what God did with Adam and Eve and they failed. Jesus was led into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit (Matthew 4:1) and he passed the temptation of the devil. God does not tempt us with evil, but allows the circumstances to become the environment in which professed truth becomes reality in us.
