New Birth

Our new birth does not give us power to be a better person - it means a new man (new nature)! This is the exciting news that the enemy of your soul does not want you to know! There is a new brand new man inside of you (2 Corinthians 5:17)!
The great Apostle to Africa John G. Lake wrote: "It became very easy for me to detach myself from the course of life, so that while my hands and mind were engaged in the common affairs of every day life, my spirit maintained it's attitude of communion with God."
To gain a deeper walk with Jesus we must realize what interferes and determine the strategy to overcome:
1. Satan - The demonic hinders us.
2. Fallen nature.
3. Human failure.
The moment that I am born again I have intimacy with God but it is:
1. Broken
2. Sporadic
3. Interrupted
This can change as we become renewed through the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit showing us the new image of who Jesus is and who we REALLY ARE!
