Eye For The Spirit-Part 14

So, the Holy Spirit is a person; He has feelings; He can be hurt; He can be troubled; He can be vexed. In order not to vex the Spirit we are told, “Forbid not the speaking with tongues; quench not the Spirit; despise not prophesying; neglect not the gift that is in thee.” By observing these prohibitions, we are sparing the Spirit of God from being vexed. He is a member of the Trinity; He is a real person; He has feelings and is looking to us, not to hurt His feelings, but to cooperate with Him like we would cooperate with any person in whatever He seeks to do among His people; for He is the energizing power of God by which God works to bring His people into the fullness of the stature of Jesus Christ.

In another message, we will go into different activities of the Spirit of God such as His leading; how He leads; how He does; what He does; and why He does, so we can learn to cooperate with the Spirit in the work of God to bring us into the full stature of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Lord bless these words to your hearts.
