Father, on behalf of our nation, we confess that we have offended You with our ungodliness. We as a nation have become thankless, rebellious and unclean. We’ve ignored Your guidance and spurned Your presence. O God, forgive us and deliver us. We pray earnestly, desperately and expectantly for a massive spiritual awakening and transformation in our nation.

Father, bless and move upon all the leaders of our nation. Make them righteous and wise. Pull down from power those with inflexible hearts who set their faces against You. Replace them with those who will be led by Your Spirit and Your principles.

Establish truths in our education system and give us godly teachers and educators who will be righteous role models for our children. Remove those who bring immorality and heresy into our classrooms.

Bring righteous judgment into our courts with equal justice for all. Move sovereignly in the media and arts and entertainment industries. Pull down the ungodly and raise up men and women of your choice.

Heal our homes and cement our family relationships. Deliver children who are subject to abuse and fear. Protect them with Your angels. Heal their wounded hearts.

Father, heal the soul of our nation. May it once again truly be “one nation under God”, filled with Your glory. Amen.
